Lay led and Easter Service plans
The APCM season kicks off this week. Please pray for those who are willing to serve as Church Wardens and on the PCC.
Yesterday we heard from our Archdeacons with guidance for the way ahead. Some of our churches are making plans to have lay led services. Seats will need to be booked, masks worn and social distancing in place. We hope to hold a service on Good Friday, and opportunities to celebrate Holy Communion on Easter Day as well as continuing with our Zoom and Conference Call service. We will publish the venues of these services next week. From 12 April we will produce a service rota across the Mission Community.
With all these changes it is worth remembering that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever! Phew! Thank goodness for that!
