Welcome to St Margaret's, Stoodleigh
St. Margaret's, Stoodleigh, is a 15th century church, significantly enlarged in Victorian times, with notable roof bosses, 'Green Men' wall plates and a Norman font.
Although the regular congregation is small, we always extend a warm welcome and seek to draw others into the fellowship of the church to share in the knowledge of God's love.
Four services are held each month with up to three taken by Lay Leaders: Family Service, Holy Communion and Morning Prayer at 11.00, and Evening Prayer at 6.30 p.m. Services generally alternate between the Book of Common Prayer with hymns A&M and Common Worship with Mission Praise. There is a simpler format for the Family Service with Mission Praise.
The church appreciates having much practical and sympathetic support from the village community.
