New numbers and Zoom for Pentecost Sunday

Thank you for sticking with us as we worship together on Sunday and throughout the week. We have been aware that over the past couple of weeks some of you have experienced difficulties with our conference call. Consequently, we have decided to change our conference call provider to an organisation called PowWowNow! We have used it a couple of times this week for Thy Kingdom Come and will be using it on 31 May, Pentecost Sunday.

Please note the different number and the new PIN. You will NOT have to use the #. You will NOT be asked to announce yourself, although it would be helpful to just say your name and then wait for others to join. Hopefully, this will be more successful. We don’t want to put any of you off joining us for worship – so please give it a go. In addition, this Sunday we will also be using Zoom simultaneously with the conference call! It is really important that those who can mute themselves on either the phone or Zoom.

  • The Conference Call dial in number is:  0330 336 0036  PIN 586191
  • Meeting Zoom ID:    820 4264 0443  (no password required)

Film Club

Film Club will meet on Monday 1 June at 2.30pm to discuss ‘Educating Rita’ which can still be seen on BBC iplayer.
Stephanie Gordon-Jeffs is inviting you to a scheduled Zoom meeting.

Coffee Morning

It has been good to see so many of you at our weekly coffee mornings on Wednesday at 10.30am. Hopefully, you should either be able to access the meeting though the link, or by using the meeting ID. No password is required.

Bible Study

It has been great to study the Bible together on Wednesday evenings at 7.30pm. We will be looking at 1, 2 and 3 John over the course of the next few weeks.

Magazine

Hopefully you have been able to find our latest edition of ‘Today’ magazine on the website. I am very grateful to Dawn and to Dave for all that they do for the Mission Community.

Steve

Steve is gradually getting back to work. However, it is not possible at the moment for Steve to work from The Rectory, and so we are trying to find ways for him to work from home. Please bear with us as we try to put systems in place.

Next Week

Robert and I have found it very difficult to take time off since lockdown began. However, we are hoping to have a lighter week from 8 June.

Youtube

Look out for my latest reflection on the website.

Thank you for all that you continue to do and for the wonderful, faithful people that you are. May God bless you and your families.

With love,

Steph
