Aid for Ukraine
For those who wish to give aid to the refugees in Poland and Ukraine there are two collection points in Tiverton. NB: Clothes are not needed at this time.
You can drop off your donations for the refugees of Ukraine/Poland to:
The Painted Peacock, 48 Gold Street Tiverton,
or
North Devon Tyres Ormidale Business Park Tiverton (Near B&M and Homebase)
Items that are needed
- Complete bedding, sleeping bags, blankets and pillows etc
- Protection equipment helmets and body protection.
- Any kind of shelter equipment.
- Flash lights/torches batteries, small paraffin burners, gas stoves, candles matches etc
- Complete first Aid Kits, bandages, plasters, eye wash, TCP, painkillers, antiseptic creams.
- Complete outdoor cooking equipment (large pots and pans and gas stools) tables, disposable cups and plates etc
- Thermos type flasks for storing food and any food containers.
- Non- perishable foods, vegetables, canned food bagged dries food and ration packs etc.
- Bottles drinking water, toilet rolls, personal hygiene items, gloves, masks and cash.
- NB: Clothes are not needed at this time.
