I met with the church wardens this week to discuss our response to the latest government guidance, especially regarding some of our busier Christmas services. Please remember that wearing masks in church is now a legal requirement.

Loxbeare PCC have requested where possible that all those intending to come to the Service of Holy Communion at 6pm on Christmas Eve should take a lateral flow test.

I read this prayer this week.

Lord God, you are the light in our darkness.
You are the purpose in our wandering.
You are revealed in the angel’s greeting.
You are known in the acceptance of Mary.
You are felt in the care of Joseph.
You are received in the following of the shepherds.
You are given in the gifts of the magi.
What a blessing you are, Lord God.
Amen.
