A Fund Raising Evening for St Catherine’s Church, Withleigh
With many of us pursuing the improbable at the moment, I can't think of a better title to our Wildlife film evening with our local wildlife enthusiast and film maker. Many of you will know Stephen Powles but, for those who do not, he has given up his career as a vet to concentrate on his passion for being an amateur naturalist and wildlife photographer/cameraman/film maker. He has offered us one of his presentations, through Zoom, as a means of us raising much needed funds for St Catherine's Church, Withleigh.
Meeting Details (delivered by Zoom)
Date: Thursday 2nd July 2020
Where: The comfort of your own home!
Time: 7.20 for a 7.30pm start (please don’t be late as you may not get admitted). For those of you new to Zoom, join early at 7.05 for a “training” session (see below for more tips).
There will be a short introduction then Stephen’s presentation which will be followed by a Q&A. We expect to conclude the event at around 8.45pm
“In Pursuit of the Improbable” is a medley of interesting and amusing wildlife stories and how Stephen managed to photograph and film them. It will feature otters, a “smart mouse” and a pine marten amongst other stars from the natural world. Most of the “stars”, but not all, are residents of Withleigh!

We are hosting the evening with the hope that everyone will not only enjoy Stephen's film but be prepared give a donation to Withleigh Church.
