Exe Valley Mission Community

A March Update from Calverleigh

Firstly, we would like to start with saying a huge thank you to Paul and Elizabeth for all their hard work in keeping the Mission Community running smoothly before, during and following the interregnum. We wish you both a long and happy “retirement”.

It was with great sadness that we learnt of the passing of Gordon Ferris, who was known to a great many people in and around the local and wider area. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family and friends of Gordon and also with all who mourn the loss of a loved one.

It was good to hear that after several cancelled operations, Derek Herniman was able to have his hip done. He is now at home recovering and itching to get out and about properly. Our very best wishes go to him and all those who have had a spell in hospital, been feeling unwell recently, are recovering from treatment or re-cooperating and are on the mend. Our prayers are also with all those who are awaiting or receiving treatment at this time.
